An agriculturist has been hired to come in and teach them how to farm the land and plant crops.
Teachers have been hired for the school.
A Motorcycle was purchased for the Professor to travel back and forth to the village each day.
Sewing Machines were purchased and School uniforms sewn for the children who are sponsored.
Cooks were trained and hired to cook for the school children.
Babies are starting live healthier.

One Village at a time
Village Makeover is a concept that formed when Pastor Rick and Debbie visited the United States. They were watching “Extreme Home Makeover” and decided that they could do the same in Haiti.
Once Pastor Rick and Debbie started working with several different churches in the United States, villages and lives started changing in Haiti. Once a village is chosen by the church, a master plan is created for the village.
This plan addresses the basic needs of the people first, and then teaches them how to sustain themselves by using the land around their village to grow crops, raise livestock, and create businesses to generate income and jobs.
In a country that has 90% unemployment and contaminated water and food resources, it is vital to work on getting the basic needs of Haitians met first. These include: Clean Water, Food, Shelter, Medical Treatment, and the Love of Jesus Christ. New Life Haiti (Pastor Rick and Debbie Hutchinson) strongly believe, with the love of others- becoming the feet and hands of Christ, Haiti can be changed one village at a time.
